Staying at the hermitage of Notre-Dame-d’Aubune Beaumes-de-Venise (Vaucluse, 84)

For lovers of Provence, the APARE suggests staying in the hermitage linked to the Romanesque chapel of Notre Dame d’Aubune in the heart of the hills called the “Dentelles de Montmirail”. Open all year, this hostel welcomes ramblers, families and groups of up to seventeen people who wish to explore the countryside of Provence and meet its inhabitants.
The hermitage overlooks the village of Beaumes de Venise from where you may rent bicycles, find climbing guides or jump into the public swimming pool in summer. The hermitage is the starting point for many sporting or cultural walks. You will be able to enjoy magnificent sunsets over the vineyards and taste the renowned local specialities.
