Travelling with the APARE
restoration workcamps for young people
– a fabulous opportunity to discover Provence and the Mediterranean in a different light… Three fragments of sun-drenched paradise await you between the Alps and the Med.

Work sites “at the foot of the Mont Ventoux”
Vaucluse a land of festivals (Avignon), Roman heritage (the theatre at Orange, Vaison-la-Romaine), papal history (Popes’ Palace), and incredible natural landscapes in the Luberon, the finely chiselled hills of Montmirail, the Nesque river gorges, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse… and the land that inspired René Char, Frederic Mistral, Pétrarque and Henri Fabre.

Work sites “along the Mediterranean shore”
Var and Bouches-du-Rhône: the road that takes you from the sea to the hinterland of forest and hills in the Sainte-Baume and Sainte-Victoire. Travelling through this area takes you from the “îles d’or” islands of gold, the picturesque sea inlets, the famous beaches and ports (Saint-Tropez, Toulon, Marseille), to Aix-en-Provence, Arles and Camargue, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and the Alpilles foothills, following in the steps of Alphonse Daudet and Marcel Pagnol.

Work sites "in the mountains of Haute-Provence”
The Alps of “Haute-Provence”: some of the most beautiful scenery of the Mediterranean region: sun drenched mountains with white-water canyons of rivers like the Verdon, the Dignes region with the biggest geological reserve in Europe, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and its large lakes, the Lure mountain range and the area around Forcalquier celebrated by the writer Jean Giono.

So if you want to break with daily monotony and taste the action as well as get a good tan in an intelligent way, then write to us quickly, because the time has almost come for the APARE youth festival, gathering people who travel to join us from the four corners of the earth.
