In the heart of the Haute-Provence geological reserve, close to the city of Digne-les-Bains, the medieval fortifications of Lauzière are perched high on a hill, overlooking the scenery of the Southern Alps. In order to preserve this site of an annual pilgrimage, the local council has invested in a development project. You will participate in the last stage of this programme to restore the hermitage (adjoining the small church) by strengthening stonework uncovered in 2008.
