Owned by
the Coastland Conservation society (“Conservatoire du
littoral”), the old royal gunpowder factory at Miramas
is built on the edge of Berre lake, which opens onto
the Mediterranean. In this preserved area of 135 ha
open to nature lovers, the small chapel of Saint-Vincent
has been undergoing preservation work to repair its
Romanesque architecture under the supervision of the
SIANPOU, the site’s managing organisation. This
year, you will help to restore the outer part of the
south wall of the church. You will also build a roof
over the old wash-house nearby.
Accomodation: Communal accommodation on site
