Overlooking
the famous bay of Saint-Tropez, the citadel was built
in the 16th century. In 1858, it became a naval museum,
then was classified as a historical monument in 1931.
In the context of a preservation and development programme
of the citadel, launched in 1995, local authorities
are pursuing the general restoration of the site. You
will be working on the stonework of the enclosing wall,
called “covered walk”.
