With its
refreshing water-fall, the village of Sillans-la-Cascade
is situated at the meeting point between the mountains
of Haute-Provence and the Var coastline. The 18th century
castle of the Castellanes, currently used as the town-hall,
is surrounded by its original fortified walls. In 2007,
local authorities decided to launch a restoration project
to preserve and consolidate this major feature of local
heritage. You will continue the consolidation
of stone work on one of the towers and the fortified
wall.
