Near the
Sainte-Baume massif, the castle of Pontevés in the old
village of Flassans-sur-Issole dominates the surrounding
countryside, the new village and the Issole river. The
local council wants to preserve and develop this site,
being a major feature of village history, and it has
decided to clear the undergrowth and make the area secure.
This year, you will continue the consolidation
of the castle’s medieval stonework.
