This workcamp is located in Nerezisca, a village of about 800 inhabitants on the island of Brac, one of the three bigger islands off the Croatian coast. This destination is popular for both tourism and archaeology and is in approximately 10 km from the city of Supetar and its ferry port connecting Brac with the city of Split on the continent.
You will be part of perfect union between nature, culture and entertainment on this island full of countless small hidden bays and amazing beaches.
So, a 15-day active holiday awaits for a group comprising 6 Croatian and 6 international participants.
You will work together to:
restore the cobblestoned surface of an ancient public road between Nerezisca and Blaca
repair the retaining wall running alongside the cobblestone road (dry stone walling).
There will also be a selection of leisure activities and visits to discover the region. These will be organized in the afternoons, evenings and weekends when construction work stops on the workcamp.
Registration terms and conditions:
- Cost of registration: €110 for 2 weeks full board; return travel costs are at your own expense
- Accommodation: you will be staying in a house equipped with a range of comfortable facilities, in bedrooms with 2 or 4 beds each.
- The language of the workcamp is mainly English. Participants must therefore be able to communicate easily in this language.
The selection for this workcamp will be made on the basis of your motivation (please, fill in the section "motivation" on the registration application).
Upon acceptance of your application, payment for your participation will act as confirmation of your registration.
