The European LEADER program supports innovative activities in rural contexts that can integrate a joint local development project.

The LEADER Ventoux program, led by the local development agency Syndicat Mixte d’Aménagement et d’Equipement du Mont Ventoux is designed to contribute to the long-term structuring and organization of territorial development, notably by reinforcing cooperation between the participants of local initiatives and support programs for sustainable development. In terms of actual implementation, the program depends on a GAL (local action group) that includes 31 members from local authorities and community initiatives, including the APARE.
