A look at Balkan heritage
The aim of this intercultural project was to demonstrate the common caracteristics of vernacular heritage in the Balkans, a region divided by conflict and still very much under tension today.
Fifteen students in the fields of architecture, art, graphics, communication and local development, coming from Bulgaria, France, FYROM, Greece, Ireland and Turkey, took part in this itinerant campus lasting five weeks across different territories of the region, with the aim of observing emblematic heritage and demonstrating common features and local particularities.
The results of their work were used to compile a travel book and an exhibition.
