The GRUNDTVIG Educational Partnership programme aims to set up a European network of organisations working to acknowledge the skills and experience of artisanal craftsmen. Many of these professions are fast disappearing, especially those linked to preserving the architectural heritage of dry-stone construction. This programme is intended to encourage interaction and exchange regarding opportunities of training for workers, sharing and adapting existing training tools and creating new ones.
This project is coordinated by the Corsican Environmental Office, and brings together partners from Italy, Greece, Scotland, Majorca, Cornwall, and the APARE.
Exchange workshops have been organised, focussing on traditional techniques used in the various regions represented.
The final results of the Grundtvig program are on the website of the Corsican Environmental Office.
