International Commitment

At the heart of all our programmes, our common heritage is a link between the people and territories of the Euro-Mediterranean region.

From the very beginning, the APARE’s aim has been to work within the framework of European construction and consolidate closer Euro-Mediterranean relationships. In the 90’s, the first heritage campuses allowed many students from Eastern Europe to participate for the first time in international exchanges. From the year 2000 onwards, we became one of the first associations to run Euro-Mediterranean campuses in France.

Today, as a European youth organisation open to the Mediterranean, we welcome participants from Europe and the entire world to our work camps. We organise many work camps and campuses each year in Europe and the Mediterranean region.
We also participate in a number of projects involving Euro-Mediterranean co-operation, in particular aimed at protecting features of rural heritage and dry-stone heritage.
Our projects involve numerous partners throughout the region: universities, training institutions, local authorities, public bodies, organisations, etc.
